Yuzushu literally means Òyuzu alcoholÓ in Japanese. This Sea Salt Yuzushu liqueur is produced by Kitajima Brewery on a sake base, to which fresh yuzu juice and sea salt are added. Founded in 1805 in the village of Hari, Shiga Prefecture, the distillery has been making premium sake for over 200 years. The combination of sake and fresh Japanese yuzu juice creates a remarkable drink with sweet and sour notes. The touch of sea salt softens the acidity and brings out the flavor of the yuzu. Enjoy it neat on ice, with a tonic, or Japanese style with hot water.
