A pure Lugana that preserves the ancient secrets of winemaking excellence. Must, fermentation, and aging in terracotta amphorae restore its aroma, structure, and velvety personality. Aromas of white flowers and a persistent finish on the palate create a Lugana with a straw yellow color and golden highlights, born from the same winemaking techniques as the ancient Romans. Grape Varieties: Turbiana di Lugana. Vinification: Soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation in terracotta amphorae in a temperature-controlled environment and extended maturation on the lees, aging for 4-5 months in terracotta amphorae and stainless steel. Color: Straw yellow with golden highlights. Broad nose, ranging from white flowers to yellow fruit. Spicy, white pepper, and a hint of saffron. Velvety palate, soft and balanced with a long finish. Borgo la Caccia is a member of the Consortium for the Protection of Lugana DOC.
