The Tottori Blended Japanese Whisky Bourbon Barrel is made from several Japanese Batch. It has been aged for a minimum of 3 years in casks that have previously contained Bourbon.
Aged maximum for 5 years. The Bourbon barrels will thus bring particular notes, specific to this American spirit, within the "blended" of the Kurayoshi distillery. Not cold filtered.
The Tottori Blended reveals over 100 years of expertise in blending and aging spirits. Aged between 3 and 5 years in new American white oak barrels. In order to preserve the authentic aromatic profile, the filtration has not been done cold, letting all the fruitiness of this blended express itself, accompanied by a lot of fat and a nice roundness.
Its coloring is 100% natural.The Tottori range is a real tribute to the Tottori province which has been home to the Kurayoshi distillery since 1910. The use of the pure and fresh waters of the preserved province of Tottori is the key around which the range is built.

This whisky is aged in Mizunara oak casks. Mizunara wood is as famous for its rarity as for its complexity to be worked. Today, Mizunara casks represent only 10% of the stock of aged whiskies in Japan. Its intrinsic qualities and the aromas it transmits are recognised by Japanese whisky lovers for its unique character.
This oak takes 200 to 300 years to mature, it brings exceptional aromatic qualities. This variety of oak is found only in the forests of Hokkaido and the Tohoku region, north of Honshu. The Mizunara brings a honeyed woodiness that coats the whisky and brings an elegant length specific to this ageing. This whisky is reduced with fresh water from the snowfall of the Daisen Mountain range.
The ageing takes place in Tottori prefecture, where nature is dominant and where temperatures vary greatly with the seasons (the angels' share corresponds to 3% of evaporation from the barrel).
Samurai Rice Sake from Asahikawa Distillery in Hokkaido has a deep flavor and sharp taste from the use of very pure rice grains.
Traditionally, sake is consumed cold, hot, or on ice as the Samurai used to drink it but also with soda and/or lime juice.
Its consumption is recommended for sake-based cocktails, but also with sushi, sashimi, seafood and salmon tartar.
The Kurayoshi is the Japanese Pure Malt range from the distillery of the same namen located in Tottori Prefecture. The Kurayoshi distillery takes special care in the blending of the Pure Malts. This Pure Malt Sherry Cask expresses itself on the nose with notes of ripe fruits and chocolate coming from the maturation in sherry casks for more than 3 years. Cadello is made from 8 ingredients from Italy and from places along the Old Silk Route.
Our master distillers in Italy select the highest quality sources for each ingredient and then infuses each of them separately for the appropriate amount of time.
Once the infusion process is complete, each ingredient is individually distilled.
The ingredients are then carefully blended and aged in French oak barrels.
Cadello’s long finish unveils flavours of coffee, chocolate, cocoa, star anise and vanilla, with hints of hazelnut, mint, caramel and toffee.
